Guild Polara 2024 range comes in ten new colours
The Guild Polara has been in the Guild line up since the early 1970s and has been updated and reimagined for 2024 in new colours and finishes.
From hard hitting riffs by Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and many others across all genres, the Polara is a versatile instrument with a vibe all its own.
Available in base model, Night Edition, Deluxe, Artist Signature and USA configurations.
HB-2+ humbucker pickups with alnico v magnets
The new uncovered HB-2+ pickups are modern extensions of the coveted Guild HB-1 oversized humbuckers, built in a traditional size humbucker with Alnico V magnets. These hot-wound HB-2+ pickups bring a variety of boutique quality tones with loads of character and voice. Black pole pieces further expand the vibe while simplified master volume and tone controls add to the Polara’s no frills and down to business design.
Mahogany string-thru body with ultra-playable set neck design
The Polara features a Mahogany body with a set neck design and 24 ¾ scale length, which is familiar and friendly to all types of players. A Rosewood fingerboard and modern U shape neck with simple dot inlays provide a classic look.
Polaris Night Edition
The “Night Edition” trim option brings a blacked-out look, including black metal headstock “Peak” logo and all-black hardware to compliment a dark Tungsten finish.
The Polara Deluxe offers an upgraded trim package to the base Polara model, delivering classic aesthetics that recall 1970s design elements with modern enhancements.
Includes a bound Rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, Guild Peak and Chesterfield headstock inlays, Guild compensated stopbar tailpiece, and HB-2+ pickups with coil-splitting.
