Custom Shop BB King Lucille Legacy c£6000.
This is one great looking guitar! Gibson have had quite a few signature BB King Lucille guitars over the years but this one is a custom shop model and well worthy of his name (although he named all his guitars Lucille).
Following on from the recent Epiphone Lucille Gibson seem to be updating and expanding their Artist models – more for us to drool over!
Highlights include:
Gold hardware, including a gold “B.B. King” engraved truss rod cover and a TP-6 tailpiece with fine tuners. A “Lucille” mother of pearl inlay adorns the headstock, and the ebony fretboard features split block mother of pearl inlays.
A mono Varitone switch, along with four audio taper CTS® potentiometers
Paper-in-oil Bumblebee capacitors
Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups.
I am sure the King himself would be proud to play it.
